Hey All, Got a question for the group or those who know about a Ford C6 tranny. I'm looking at a '76 F150 4WD. The seller says the tranny has a problem and that it will only go into 1st and reverse. I am not familiar with this tranny to know if this could be a simple problem or an extreme case. If its an easy problem to repair then I may buy the truck. It I would be looking at a rebuild, then I would probably pass. Thanks much! Jeremy Just a follow up. I talked to the guy about the tranny problem. He says it was fine and shifted through the gears before he swapped motors. It stopped shifting when he put in the new motor.
