I have a 72 Ford Bronco and have had the clutch replace three times
now and i still get the same problem. After three month or so if you
are at a stop and you want to go or start to move the car shutters.
Once the truck is moving it is not problem. It is only an issue once
you are stop and you have to start moving on a flat or up hill. If you
are on a down hill it is not an issue.
Once the clutch is replace it is fine of a few months then it is back.
Any idea on how to fix the problem with a new clutch made to deal with
the issue. I have also had three different shops look at it and they
are said it is the clutch.
It is a 72 ford bronco with 33 inch tires and the org 289 engine and 3
speed tran with shifter moved to the floor.
Any help with be a great, thank a head of time.

Was the flywheel either replaced or resurfaced with the new clutch
installs?

Did the same shop do the work each time? As mentioned, it sounds like
the flywheel needs tending to by either a proper resurface job or if
it is faulty, replaced.
It's also important that your clutch reside in a clean environment.
No greasy fingers used when reassembling, and no leaks around the rear
main seal on the engine.
I'd get a new shop to work on it next time if you haven't already.

I have had two different shops look at and fix it. If i need to go
with replacing the rear gears what would be the best choice
Or would finding a 5 speed tran that will bolt up to the 302/289
engine a better option. This why i would have a much lower first gear.

either change back to the proper size tires, change the gear ratio to match
the tire size, or live with the clutch chatter

Rear suspension modifications, broken or mis-aligned mounts or linkages
can cause changes in the suspension, drive-line, motor mount dynamics.
This can cause clutch chatter. Another cause could be non-stock, worn
or rusted out cab mounts which will change the clutch linkage alignment.

Crap, I had a 72 Bronco and I had this very same problem! Been so
long that I had completely forgotten.
I never did fix the problem but was 99% sure of what it was. Check
your slip yolk on the rear driveshaft. Mine was completley worn and
if you grabbed it, you could shift the driveshaft up and down a bit.
You could also hold one part of the shaft and twist the other and feel
some pretty good play. I could make the chatter mostly go away if I
packed the joint up full of grease. Just a temorary fix though.
