My car has started to squeal at startup in the morning and anytime it sits for an hour or 2 in the cold and rain. Anybody else experience this, better yet anybody fixed it? Check the tension on the belt that drives the alternator. Likely it is loose or the belt has become worn or glazed (if so replace it). -- Roger |
