Im hoping there are some mechanics out there that can give me some insight.
I bought a 2005 Grand Cherokee, and the tach is on the right and the
speedometer is on the left.  Drives me nuts!  Ive always had the tach on
the left, and I believe that is where it should be.  Is it possible to
take the instrument cluster out and switch the two?

Sure, anythings possible.  The stock gauges use circuit bnoards.  So you'll need
to custom fabricate a wiring harness to replace it.

Ok.  I was thinking of just taking the speedometer and tach out of the dash
assembly and switching them from the two bezels.

NO. Not unless you have a way to remold the plastic housing, make a new
printed circuit and alter the face of the panel.
