There's a couple things to look at on these Fords. You do want to check
the shock mount bushings, but also check the radius arm bushings. They
tend to deteriorate over time, and cause a clanging/ jingling noise to
come from under the truck. What kind of hubs do you have? You may want
to check the hubs, as well as bearings up there.
