Can anyone tell me the pros/cons of using most any electronic
aftermarket tach with the stock 6.9 sensor as the sending unit ? Is
there an issue with reading accurate RPM on anything OTHER than the
stock tach ? Thanks in advance to anyone who may have done this and
problems or not they ran into.

it will not work. you have to use a ford tach with the ford sending unit,
cause they are not compatable with aftermarket tach heads.
