I believe the 24 volt system is the 'arctic pack'. I owned one in Canada,
and it WAS a relatively big pain in the arse. Nothing fits 'off the shelf',
and simple things like blinkers or brakes require a trip to the Maritime
shops (boats apparently are 24 volt too). All except the headlights which
remain 12 volts - oh, and the radio too.
Seriously, it is a very annoying part of owning a 24 volt vehicle, but if
you can get over it, it is probably well worth it.

I'd never want to miss my 24 Volts L/C. My 8274 pulls the sh.t out of it all.
You can't get more power out of a car on the 'electric' way. The usage of
'truck' parts for the electrics ain't much of a problem, no defects yet but
every truckshop can cope.

Parts seemed readily available, but you would have to specify what you
wanted. I think you're in Australia, in which case you would possibly have
to 'wait' until the item was imported.
