I have a 01 CL with leather seats and am starting to have a problem with the leather on the drivers seat. It appears to be cracking on one side. Does anyone know if there is a warranty from ACURA on its leather seats.
Thank you,
Lloyd

As long as it hasn¹t been obviously damaged by abuse (cuts, holes poked into
it, tears, etc.), it should be covered under the basic warranty (4 yr/50,000
miles) along with everything else.  Take it in and show it to the dealer.

Re: ACURA Leather SeatsThank you for your advise. I live in Napanee, but purchased the car in at "ACURA 2000" in Brampton. They are good people and I'm sure if there is anything they can do for me they will.

Re: ACURA Leather Seats I just had the side bolster replaced on my 2003
RSX-S.  Not even a year old and the leather/vinyl was cracked very bad.

I think this is the same area that mine is cracked, the outside area of the
back and the outside area of the seat, (on the drivers seat). My problem is
I don't have an Acura dealer here, but I do have a Honda dealership, I will
ask Honda if they will honor the Acura warranty. If not, I have to travel to
Brampton, Ontario, 3 hrs drive West on the 401.
Thanks,
Lloyd

When you go to the Acura dealer, get some of the Acura leather cleaner
and conditioner. It will most likely not fix your problem, but it may
keep you from having future problems.
