Finally got my TL, a 2000 with 70,000 Km on it! :) SWEEEET!!!

I have to say that the customer service from Acura is TOP NOTCH! My last car
was a 2000 VW 1.8T (leased it new) and the service from VW is god awful! The
car was nice but I would never buy another just because of the quality of
service they provide.

I called the Acura customer service line and got every question I asked
answered very well AND politely! Plus the fact that I love the car... hehe,
it has a spoiler too!

Well, we will see what happens over the next couple of years but if I am
this satisfied throughout I am almost definitely going to be a repeat Acura
owner!

later
d <----- going to drive my new car :-D

I know all about the tranny problems, but the recall has been done and even
after it has been replaced I have another 4 years/90k on the replaced tranny
so I am not so worried about it.

the recall has not been done - the fiber optic cameras and add-on oil spray
kits are not ready
the warranty extension was done a couple years ago

resale value will depend on how many miles/years left on the extended
warranty
the car will be worth $6K or so less than expected at warranty expiration

do you also know about the rear main seal ?  I recommend buying the warranty
extension (from Acura) to cover the whole thing from 50K out to 100K.  Best
$1,000 you will spend.
