The plastic covering the roof paint of my 1991 Integra its peeling of.
My preferred body shop just close business .
I want to fix it myself.
I have all the tools required to do the job (compressor, gun etc.)
To remove the plastic cover, shell I use sand paper or is it
preferable to use a chemical product like acetone .
Once the plastic is removed I may spray a new plastic layer or just
use wax.

Advice please

I know you want to do it yourself, but I needed a paint job on my '92 Teg a
few years ago, & went up to Maaco (sp?), & got a great paint job, including
the UV coat & stripes replaces on sides, for ~ $300. Looks great, & have had
many complements! Wish I could help you, though. Good luck!
