I know there's been a recall.  What is the fix?  Sometimes when I'm
driving I'd say 30 - 45mph it seems like the tranny is hunting between
gears.  Is this the warning sign of one of the recalled trannys going
bad?  Also, will they just replace it next time I'm in for service or
do I have to tell them?

There is both a warranty extension and a recall.  Your symptom could be an
indication of the problem related to the warranty extension, though if you
have a really light foot, it could also just be normal.  Has it always done
it?  Tell them when you go in and they will check it.  If it is the problem,
they will replace the transmission.

The recall involves checking a specific gear in the transmission for heat
discoloration.  If they find any, they will replace the transmission.  If
they don't find any damage, they are supposed to modify the return line from
the transmission cooler to spray more fluid over that gear.  This
modification is supposed to eliminate later problems with the gear.
