Has any installed a XM Radio or a sirius radio unit in their 2003 Acura CL
with Trip Nav, I am interested in getting a XM radio unit but not exactly
sure how to install it since there is not much dash room to put the
controller on the dash.  Anyone has done this let me know by responding to
this post or email mcfarlandaaron1@qwest.net

I have the Delphi SkiFi XM installed my 2003 TL-S with Navi.  I asked the
dealer for a trusted installer because I didn't want to do anything to void the
warranty.  I went to the company that does radio work for them and had it done
for $100.  Hardest part was the mounting of the unit itself.  The FM Modulator
is in the dash, so that was no problem.  The installer fabricated a mount that
sits beside the OEM radio and works OK.  The only problem is it gets in the way
of the person sitting in the passenger seat.  But since I am usually alone in
the car, it isn't a big deal.  Might be a bigger deal with a CL than a TL
however.

I have the Pioneer unit in my Mercedes C320 and it was installed in the ashtray
compartment.  But then the head is much smaller than the SkiFi.
