Purchased this car for my son about 6 months ago, suspect it has been
in a flood (I know, not good). I am experiencing several electrical
issues with it (I have it running at this time -- however it
experiences intermittent faults, improper fan operation, flashing S3
transmission faults and other various codes randomly), which all seem
to point to the need to replace the engine bay wiring harness and or
ECU. Are there any manufacturers out there building these harnesses
other than the factory and if so, does anyone have an
address/link/number. Appreciate any and all information provided.

It's a long shot, but you might also want to make sure that the engine,
battery "-", and chassis are all thoroughly grounded to each other with some
good sturdy braided cable or something similar. Inadequate grounding can
cause a lot of random and seemingly unrelated problems. As I said, it is a
long shot, but when your faced with the cost/trouble of replacing an engine
harness or ECU, it couldn't hurt to check it out. ;-)

Good Luck!
