1998 Integra, 4dr auto with B18B1 DOHC engine.
Started getting a"check engine" light a few weeks back, so I pulled the
code.
It flashed a 67, which my Haynes book tells me is Code P0420, with probable
cause "Catalyst system efficiency below threshold".

Is this serious? Expensive?
Anything a DIY mechanic can handle?

TIA for any advice!

It decides whether the catalyst is working based on feedback from the rear
O2 sensor.  Check that first before replacing the catalytic converter.
