I'm considering the Michelin Pilot Alpin PA2 for my TL. Any thoughts?

I had those on my TL and they were really loud and "whistled" when wet.  I
got these Goodyears next and they are great:

btw, I live in Nova Scotia - winter lasts six months

The Goodyears you mention here are Q rated. I would prefer a higher
rating such as H, because I understand that translates into better
handling on dry pavement (which is most of the driving I do in the
city in winter).

Goodyear has the Eagle Ultra Grip GW3 that are rated H92, same as the
Pilot Alpin PA2.

Anybody else has issues with the PA2?

Thanks, btw. I appreciate the feedback.

Seems to me to be a trade off between handling in the ice and snow and
performance on dry.  Although "Q" is only rated to 99 mph, I am much more
confident driving in slush at 65mph with these than another tire which
compromises the winter handling for dry performance - then again, as I
mentioned, I am in Nova Scotia where these are real issues on a daily basis
for up to six months!
