Hey Acura guru's....

My 86 Legend 4dr periodically blows the number one plug wire out of
the plug hole.  It starts running rough as you would expect running on five
cylinders.  The spark plug it tight without over torqing it.  What can be
causing this?  There is no water in the oil, the engine runs smoothly except
when it blows out the wire.  It is hard to start but it did exactly the same
just after a dealer tune up.

Thanks in advance! Dave in NC

replace that wire and replace that spark plug, also put a sealant on the
threads of the spark plug

Thanks for the help!  I also heard it could be the valve cover
gasket or gromet seal...

Yes, it could be pressure from under the valve cover, in which case the PCV
system needs to be cleaned.
