I have an OEM radio/tape and can't get the tape out.  Does anybody
know who mite have a maint. manual that shows how to get this puppie
out?

My radio/tape is acting funny.

When I first turn on the car, the tape deck plays (with stuck tape
inside) BUT if I turn the radio off & try to restart the tape, the
radio does NOT come back on & the tape does not play.  There are NO
lights on the radio/tape faceplate.

Got me stumped.

TIA

FWIW, the usual problem with tape drives is a stretched drive belt. The belt
is used for driving the tape transport and for operating the tape suck-in
system.
