engine light noise

You'll have to describe the "light noise" in /much/ more detail.

If it's a regular, tappety clicking noise you hear mostly at idle, then
it's probably about an hour's labor, or between $75 and $125 to adjust the
valves (assuming you don't have hydraulic lifters).
