I been talking to my friends who say I need to
get a car instead of the truck I drive since it dose
not get good gas.  mileage  I have a Chevy 1/2 ton
with a 350 and 3.42 rear end, 1999, but with having
to pay so much for my gas anymore I think they are
right about buying a car that gets better.

Noone in my family ever bought a jap car we only
buy American but my brother in law has a Acurra
LT ? 2000 that he wants to sell me for cheap so he
can get another car for him to drive.  I have lokked
at some inter-net places but I can not find if this is a
good car and I dotn know if this Acurra is good gas
mileage car or costs too much or will pull my trailer
with my dogs like I need to every two week.  So I
be appreciateve if any you could let me know if he
wants too much (his got 77500 miles and hes asking
$10000 for it which I think is way to much money for
some foreign piece of) and what gas dose it get?

I thank you for helping a feller out   Billy D Big Ol Bill

well at least your maintanence costs will go WAY down comparied to an
american car, and the resale value will remain much higher then what your
used too.
Did you mean an Acura TL?

Probably better off keeping the pickup truck...

you don't sound like the kind of feller that would look right drivin
around in a baby puke green jap car. sh.t, where'r you gonna throw
your empties? Acuras are for pussies, anyway.

Seriously, this probably isn't the kind of car you want for regular
towing duties. It'll handle it, but the car isn't designed for it, so
it might take a bit off of the otherwise reliable and long lasting
part of these cars. But the price is ok, and adding a hitch isn't a
big deal, so unless you've got a huge boat, it might work for a while.

In the ditch, where everybody else throws them.

Empty beer cans just roll around in a pickup truck bed and could fall out
if your tailgate's been removed.

Does the Owner's Manual specifically permit towing? If not, you could
seriously reduce the life of the tranny unless your trailer is the sort of
"tiny box" one you use to haul trash to the dump.

From the 2001 TL manual: "The total weight of the trailer and everything
loaded in it must not exceed 1,000 lbs."

Thanks, pard for youre help.  I dont like puke green, I dont much like
no japan car.  Them empties can be a problem but sicne I done quit
drinkin I dont have to many empties and I allways toss them out the
window anyways if there aint noone around.  Some folks round here
say Acurras (acuras Accuras ? are what some rich lady drives or
sissy boys but I dont want to pick no fight with you folks who got em.
I figure if your nice enough to answer questions from a stranger
you must be all right with me and aint no pussies.  Cept maybee
that MrMusic feller who might oughta learnhow to spell to cause
I believe its should not sud, pard.  You know some times a fellers
laughing at another feller when he sud be fixin his own self.  Like
maybee changing those pantys for some real britches.

it now since I need to hall my dogs and theys 12 of them plus the
trailer and huntin stuff so that there Acurra would be dragging a.s
real soon.  You fellers keep the sunnyside up and maybee Ill see
you down the road someday.  Big Ol Bill
