My Haynes manual specs a 195F Thermostat for 90-93 models, at the parts
store and at the local Honda dealer they state 180F. Which is it? Any
advantages to running one way or the other?

TIA

Oddly, the Haynes is correct (for once). The correct rating is 194F (90C).

Do NOT run a cooler thermostat than specified. You will experience slightly
increased HC emissions and lower fuel mileage, along with accelerated
engine wear. If your dealer is telling you 180F, you need to find a better
dealer.

If you are having cooling problems, the absolute WRONG way to "fix" them is
to install a cooler thermostat. The Integra's cooling system is very
efficient, robust, and reliable. Unless neglected...

An OEM thermostat is less than $20 and is STRONGLY recommended over
aftermarket.
