'00 TL3.2 and tranny problems...dealer is no help

I have recently encountered a chattering shift (car shakes) between 2nd
and 3rd gear on my '00 TL. I currently have 95,000 miles, and the oil
jet kit is installed. This feels like a 3rd clutch problem. But the
dealer is careful not to acknowledge a problem...just that it has 95K
miles on it, and this is normal wear...not a defect.

So the dealer would NOT do anything (under warranty) because "no
diagnostic codes were being thrown out by the computer."

My question is, this will probably fail out of warranty and I will have
to pay dearly for this. Is there anything that I can do under warranty
to get this taken care of (aside from abusing the tranny in hopes of a
failure)? According to the dealer..."no...it will have to fail first"

Anyone else have a similar experience or advice?

Thanks,

-Stan

The transmission warranty was extended to 100k miles and 7 years. "Normal
wear and tear" on an automatic transmission is just plain B.S.  Find another
dealer before its too late.

Thanks for the advice. I had a feeling this was a bunch of BS. I will
start calling other Acura dealers and see if I get the same story. And
if I do, I'll try calling Acura and see what they say about it!

If tranny is shuddering on shift then it has failed and I would replace it
at our dealer!
