2005 RSX Banged Up

I just noticed the front bottom bumper on my 2005 RSX is scraped up,
like someone knicked it on a curb when parking. It isn't too bad, a
triangle with a 5" wide base, about 3" high of scraped off and cracked
paint.

I'm headed to my Acura dealer tomorrow for a tune up, any idea how much
they'd charge for it to be touched up? The bumper itself isn't damaged,
just the paint. I'm up from insomnia over this, as I just bought the
car a few months ago.

Thanks all,
-Eug

Re-paint rubber baby buggy bumper??  Several hundreds of dollars, at least.  LOL
Ask me how I know.  ;-)

Probably someone scraped you in a parking lot,of course leaving without
taking responsibility for their messing up your car;Scumbags.

The dealer will just send it off to a bodyshop to have them repaint it.
It will probably be cheaper to go direct to a bodyshop of your choice to
have it repainted.

At least the bumper cover was not cut or punctured.

Last resort, you might be able to buy a spraycan of touchup paint and sand
it down and redo it yourself, depending on what color it is.

acura was clearing out the RSX Aspec body kits for $100 a peice.  If they
have any left, it might be cheaper to buy the front Aspec peice, and just
cover it up

I believe that includes tire/wheel package and suspension upgrades.

I bought my kit for an 05 RSX, front, back Sides, for $400 Cdn total.  But
it was a couple months ago, so they might be all gone.  I got it from West
Side Acura ( my local acura dealership)
