I have a 2004 TL and let the XM subscription lapse some time ago.  After I
read about the planned merger of XM and Sirius, I thought I would
re-subscribe.

Several references on the Internet noted that reduced prices could be
available.  I called the XM number and simply asked for the reduced rate of
$77 per year, and after a small wait, she activated my radio.  That's about
1/2 the normal subscription rate.

I was feeling pretty good about the reduced price when I made the mistake of
mentioning it to my wife, who promptly said that it was a waste of money as
I seldom listened to it when it was activated the last time.

Don't you just wonder what it would be like to be single and not be reminded
about the dumb things we men do?  I hate it because my wife is nearly always
correct.  I think I just won't mention it when I spend money, regardless of
how much I save!

Russ, I think that's the REAL REASON for PayPal.

Did the same thing on my wife '06 TL.  She said the same thing until
she found that she was listening to XM channel 25 to and from work.
Now I don't hear her complaining anymore about how much it costs.
