What kinda car? Year? Model? Engine? Transmission?

They're NOT all the same you know. Plus there are known issues with some
models and not with others.

So what's actually wrong with your cruise?

When did the problem start?

What happened immediately prior to failure of this system?

Any other odd behaviors exhibited by the car?

The cruise control quit without incident.  Light is on dash and on
button.  Stop light on back window fails to light, otherwise no other
problem.  Stop light on Spoiler lights when brakes engaged.
