92 Integra LS 5 speed.
After backing up in reverse, it is hard to put into 1st.  Not synchronized.
Many times have to put into 2nd and move a little to sync. the transmission
so it will go into first.
The car has always done this, but seems to be getting worse as it gets
older.
Any clue on what causes this?
Thanks

Possibly the 1rst gear "dog teeth" are chipped away. When new, they are
pointed, which allows the pointed synchro sleeve teeth to slide past the
"dog teeth".
