I posted the below message a while ago, but haven't received any
replies so I'm trying again.  Here in South Africa, the NGK plugs for
my car cost the equivalent of about US$ 30 - 35 EACH, so naturally I
would like to find out about alternatives.

Can anybody provide me with details on spark plugs required for the
156 2.5 V6? From what I could gather so far it looks like it takes
either the PFR6B (Platinum) or the BKR6EIX (Iridium) from NGK. Can
anyone confirm this or give me details on any other brands? What brand
is fitted as standard?

Thanks a lot

NGK PFR6B are fitted as std
The new NGK BKR6EIX Iridium plug is an alternative.

You only need to change the plugs every 60,000miles/5-years so there is no
point looking for a cheap alternative (which will not last as long anyway).
