Hi,
Just a simple question before I decide what to do. Is the front window
of a 1993 Alfa 33 glued in place or just suspended in rubber? If it's
suspended in rubber, I'll just go out to the junkyard to buy one, but
if it's glued it would be wiser to go to the local car glass service.

If you are talking about the windscreen, I'm pretty sure that it is not
glued into place. Only the early Alfasuds had glued-in windscreens from
what I have read. I think what you need to remove it is a long piece of
string.

The windscreen is glued. I think all 33's have a glued windscreen, but
I know for sure the nuova's (1990-1994) have. When I had mine replaced,
carglass had a real struggle getting the old one out. After a lot of
cutting wire, electrical saws, smoke, stamping feet and red faces, they
finally managed to peel back the then completely shattered windscreen.
