156 color code

I thought to try fix some minor scratches myself. But there is no color code
label anywhere in the trunk. My 'users manual' in french and looking at
pictures there is should be. Now how to determine the color?

The colour code sticker should be on the right side edge of the boot lid.
If not, go to your local Alfa parts dept and they will/should be able to
help; for a given model year there will be limited shades (usually one) of
the various colours.

I don't have a 156, but I would have thought that the colour number would be
on a plate in the engine bay.

Go to a good body shop.
They have a colour computer that "measures" the colour and even are able to
correct the original colour to the present situation. Sometime colours have
faded due to sun etc.

My 147 has a sticker on the left side of the rear hatch.

That's because it is NOT a 156 saloon John <LOL>
The 156 has it on the RIGHT side of the boot..
