I thought to try fix some minor scratches myself. But there is no color code label anywhere in the trunk. My 'users manual' in french and looking at pictures there is should be. If not, go to your local Alfa parts dept and they will/should be able to help; for a given model year there will be limited shades (usually one) of the various colours. I don't have a 156, but I would have thought that the colour number would be on a plate in the engine bay. ss. Go to a good body shop. They have a colour computer that "measures" the colour and even are able to correct the original colour to the present situation. That's because it is NOT a 156 saloon John <LOL> The 156 has it on the RIGHT side of the boot.. Page 242 fig. 1 of the manual.
