Hi there,
This is actually 100,000km service question.
Does anyone have experience on using "non original" sparking plugs in order
to avoid enormous costs?
I just had on the phone Alfa Romeo auto mechanic telling me that there are
Champion sparking plugs that cost one third of the price of the orginal
(even one fourth), and that they can make 100,000km as well.
I'm driving 156 1.6 TS,
thanx,
Igor

What's the model no. of the Champion plug he quoted you?
Heard the Champions last half as long as the original NGKs but I don't
know the model no of the Champion plugs.
Champion 50,000km
NGK original 100,000km

Unfortunately i don't remember, but he point me out some model capable of
100,000km.
I heard from other ALFA automechanic that this is not advisable option (i
don't get it way).
Any comments?
