hello all,
can someone tell me the approx price for replacing the cambelt, tensionners,
etc and the accessorie belt for a 145 1.6 TS 120hp . (with clim)
The car is from 1998 with 46000 km only.
The variator is making a very little "diesel sound" , known problem on this
engine.
Is it worth changing it now with both belts or is it possible to wait and
change it later without re-changing the cambelt?

I had this done in november 2002 at an alfa dealership in breda,
holland.
2.75 hours, 144 euro, materials about 220 euro, plus BTW (VAT) total
about 420 euro's.

If it hasn't already been changed your cambelt is now 6-years old.
CHANGE IT!
The recommended interval is now 3-years or 36000miles/60000km (which ever
comes first).
Price to do the job will depend on the labour charges in your area.
