UK 1991 3.0 V6 Lusso Auto

There is fuel to rail, but no injector switching.

No HT current at all so therefore no spark

Day prior to this car ran like a bag of shite with tacho whizzing about
wildly and hestitancy and surge.

Now nothing!

RPM Timer/sensor appears fine as is wiring to it that I know can chafe.

Any other things to look for? This is driving me mad cos I'm moving in
just over a week (100 miles away) and if it can't be fixed I'm gonna
have to scrap or give away this car, and u can't even give em away.
I'ts a hobby car  - I have a Previa for normal day-to-day stuff.

If I do lose this car I'm gonna cry - honestly! Be like a death in the
family...

Help, help. help, please!!

I once had wierd electrical stuff happen when a battery failed - too long
ago to remember the detail, but a different battery has to be worth a try if
you haven't ruled it out yet.

An intermittent crank sensor would cause erratic rev-counter ops and
eventually cause the engine to quit altogether.  My 156 did this;
engine cutting and picking up again with the rev counter bouncing to
zero, even when the engine was still being turned over by being in
gear and coasting to a standstill.  After leaving for several minutes
it would restart and run for several miles again.  New crank sensor
fixed it for cost of 25pounds.
