Is the 48,000 mile service for the 156 1.8TS a major service? I've
already had the cambelt changed, and the variator (although it is a bit
noisy again). I would look up the hand-book but it's in the car and,
er, it's dark outside...
Also, what's the likely price?

Costs?
Dunno.
Depends.
Basically al services include change of oil & filter(s) and check / renewal
of brake components (pads / discs)
Extra's:

Fairly small. Fluids and chacks mainly. Just had one for ?180 inc MOT (at
independent). Pollen filter NOT changed though.
