I needed to remove and re-fit my drivers seat in my GTV 2ltr TS which was
carried out OK but since the electrical connector to the seat belt
pretensioner was disconnected and reconnected the Air Bag warning light
stays on.

How can I reset this or is this a dealer job?.  (I have tried disconnecting
the battery for an hour or so then reconnecting to no avail.)

Does any one know what the typical Alfa dealer charges for a simple re-set
like this?

Have you tried asking your local independent Alfa specialist if he can reset
it. The one I used reset my engine warning light when I had problems with
the crank position sensor. (He wouldn't tell me how to do it though -
something to do with grounding the correct contact on the ecu).

Can anyone recommend an Independent Alfa Specialist in South Hampshire who
would undertake this?
