i get told off for advertising a car part and when i look down the newgroup
someone is advertising a
'penis extension'.... now what that trying to tell ya??????  Hope the
moderator  sorts them out to

DD, with the amount of spam circulating your post looked every bit like the
kind of spam that hits car newsgroups at a regular level. It might have been
worth providing your experience with the device rather than just giving a
link. There are countless performance devices which are quite simply
worthless or do not meet their claims, hence the cynicism.

As for 'penis extensions', well it provides the Alfa mob to have a jibe at
the BMW owners (you will discover a healthy rivalry if you hang around
here). Although clearly anyone trying to sell a BMW here will be reported
for blasphemous behaviour.

It is not a moderated group and is without doubt the friendliest and most
helpful usenet group I frequent. The only people who get a hard time are the
amateur spammers for which you may have been mistaken as being through the
wording of your post.
