Dealer Recommendations

Hi all

Being an owner living in Gloucestershire, some of you may have heard that
the local AR dealer (Cleveley Cars, Cheltenham) has closed.

As I see it, this leaves me with two options:

1. I can use one of the five dealers in the area for servicing, etc.
2. I can find a local independent. According to ARUK, if the garage is
VAT registered and uses genuine AR parts, the warranty is valid!

The five local dealers (well, within 35 miles) are Fish Brothers (Swindon),
Simonstone (Bristol), Islington (Melksham), Hylton (Worcester) or LC Motors
(Cwmbran).

Does anyone have experience with/or can recommend any of the above?
Can anyone recommend a local independent to me?

Any comments/recommendations are appreciated.

I've used Simonstone twice for servicing (12/24k) my 147, and can't fault
them yet (other than their dealer servicing prices!)

Cleveley used to a collect/return (which is probably why they went bust!!!).
Do Simonstone offer this too?

Not sure - I collected a courtesy car both times....
