Hi,
On my 164 2.0 TS I needed to replace the front pads every 20.000km.
With the V6, being more powerfull and heavier, 15.000 seems OK.
Just wonder if there are 164 owners that different (better) experience with
pads.
I used to use Ferodo on mine and replaced them myself to keep the costs
down.
Now, with the 147 I have, I recently replaced pads and discs (front) after
105.000km
Lot better I'd say :)
Regards,

Well, you don't have to tell me more about your driving style ;-)
There are various qualities out there, you could change and check.
Nevertheless, using the engine more often to reduce speed will help as well.
Be carefull and inspect the pads often, as worn pads will eat your discs as
well.

But don't forget, disks and pads are still much cheaper than engines and
transmissions. ;-)
