Seriously though, do you recommend "woollen cloth" rather than "cotton"?

If I have the time, I do get out the polish and wax my cars and bike,
but when you don't have much time on your hands, the Flash kit looks
pretty damned good.

You have me convinced hands down, Steve. Then again I don't polish
anything other than my specs ( Mind you, I would like the ability to do so)
but I do like to make the chore as easy as possible for those who do. I
figure that I stand a higher chance of getting the job done more often :-)

Yes provided the wool is free from dirt/sand corns etc.
It shines better/easier, but does pick up scratching dirt like sand more esy
as well

This is what I thought about when I read your post.
As you say, the car must be properly clean before using.
I will pass this on to my car cleaner and ask her to try "wool".
