Hi Gareth,
Before you go to a dealer, I would try and earth the rear light first.
I had trouble for months with warning, rear fog light off, when it was
working, all it was ,was a slack connection between the bulb and the
bulb holder, once tightened up no more faults.
If odd lights are dim or switching on when they shoudn't it sometimes
means an earth fault. Get some wire and fix it to a good earth, then
touch the side of the bulb. It may help to have someone to work the
lights switch for you. Hope this is of some help to you ,Good luck.
