cigar lighter not working

Hi all
The cigar lighter in my 147 gta as stopped working, i have had a look at the
fuse and it is ok i even switched the fuse with one of the same amp but
still no luck.

as anyone experienced anything like this and if yes what is the cure.
the car is still under warranty but i rather avoid a trip to dealer if i can
help it

any help much appreciated.

Good plan. The last thing you want is them pulling the whole dash out,
'cos they won't put it back right.

Just a thought... probably a silly question, but you know it doesn't work
with the ignition off?  (on my 1.6 anyway)

Perhaps it's telling you to give up the cigars? :-P

I have tried with ignition on and off.
also I do not smoke  but I need it for something more important like the
origin B2 radar detector.
