I don't need one at present but should the need arise it would be nice to be
aware of my local independant Alfa specialists. I'm in the Leeds area but
I'm sure that others could use such information for their local area. Does
anyone know if there is a directory or list available anywhere. Better to be
able to check them out at leisure rather than in the panic of needing your
pride & joy fixing.

I've just noticed that I can't spell 'independent' !!

Anyway, it doesn't look like there is a directory of  independent Alfa
specialists. Perhaps we should compile one.

this may be so, but you will have helped the "hits" total when others
Google the same mis-smelling :-)
The subject of a list of "recommends" has been discussed in the ng before.
People have pointed out pros and cons but the consensus has been toward not
including such a list. Dealerships change hands, close, standards change,
etc.,
If somebody did compile a list, with last date used, I do not think that
there would be objections to a monthly link being posted here.
