Alfa 75 TSpark Temperature Senders

I took the opportunity of a dry day and no grit on the roads to wash the
75, clean the interior, and take it for a run.

One problem came to light..... I *thought* the old girl was about to
overheat, but further investigation reveals that the temperature sender
appears to be knackered.

Currently, after standing for 6 hours in temperatures well below
freezing, the gauge reads 90 degrees celcius. Whilst using it earlier,
the gauge was reading 110 degrees...... strangely, the warning light
didn't illuminate.

So, a couple of questions.....

1. Where is the sender on the block / cooling system?

2. Is the warning light based on a 2nd sender, meaning it's a 'fail
safe' system?

Cheers,
Steve.

Cheers, I won't be in any hurry to fix it, then.
