Doubt any of you are interested, but it's there if you are.

97"R" 155 1.8. 103,000 miles, MOT+Tax, swap or sell.

Car is in Liverpool.

Reserve is sensible.

Bought in october 2005 and you're board of it? I'd take that out if I were
you, especially as you go into the detail of how much you paid for it and
how much you spent on doing it up...

just giving advice as a buyer...

I'm just not a fan of the 155. I had a 155 Q4 years ago and liked that, so I
bought this one. It's not my cup of tea. I should have bought the 164 I was
after at the time but I decided to get this 155 because it's a clean one -
and because I've got a tame Alfa mechanic...

I appreciate your comments, but I'm sure most of the people who're on here
know just how important and expensive it is to do the cambelt / tensioner
and variator on a T.Spark motor. That's why I mentioned that I paid £650 for
the car and have done all the jobs it needed. It's a good car, it's just not
a car I particularly enjoy so I'm selling it.

I've had quite a few 164s, from a 2.0 to a Q4 and I've liked all of them.

I think my main problem with the 155 is the driving position.

I'm 6'3 with long legs, never had a problem in a 164, but in the 155 its so
close to being comfy without actually managing to be comfy it drives me mad.

I think I'd like a V6, but I was totally unconvinced by the TSparks I've
tried.

I think with Alfas you either love 'em or hate 'em, and I suspect it's model
specific.

For example,

I like 164s, but I love 24v 164s
I like 3.0 75s, but I can't be bothered with the 2.5 / 2.0 / Turbo ones [1]
I love Alfasuds, but I think the 33 is an abomination
I liked my 155 Q4, but the 1.8 does nothing for me - even though it's a good
car, it's not a special car - not the kind of car I'd make excuses to go for
a Sunday morning spin in.

[1] Although I did know a mad greek with a 350 bhp 75 Turbo, that was
amusing.
