Is the Brera designed to take the place of the 147 ?? Do the readers
expect 147 prices to fall with the release of the Brera ??
(thinking of ading a friend for the 156 in year or so.. and wondering
what I should be looking to save for a 4-5 year old basic model, prob
1.6/1.8, for the mrs).

No, the Brera is the GTV/Spider replacement.

The 149 or "Progetto 940" will replace the 147 in 2007/8

So a while off yet...

Cheers

So, the 149 is going to replace the 147. There will be also a smaller model
(!) and the final version of the Kamal, all in the 2008. No Crosswagons any
more. This info was published in "Quattroruote" last year.

So there isn't going to be a Yak (GTV 4x4) SUV now ?
