I know this seems to have been covered a million times but.. rear window
stuck open; it's happened before but has sorted itself out. This time it
seems well and truly stuck. How do I get the door panel off? Apologies if
this seems really stupid as I know a lot of you out there do really
complicated stuff with that messy bit under the bonnet. The car is a 156
GTA. Thanks. Steve.
... but, it made the 4 hour drive back from Stansted to Herefordshire at 1am
today more interesting!

Not taken a rear door card off, but the front was easy.
There's a little cover inside beside the handle, prise this off and undo
the screw. Then *very* carefully pull the door card off around the edges
- using a blunt, flat blade if you need leverage to get between the
frame and the card.
You need to do this very carefully as the plastic clips holding it all
together are quite delicate.

Got the door panel off but then managed to do absolutely nothing about
getting the window to move. Undid the motor / winder unit but couldn't move
it very far. God knows how they got it in there.... bit like a bigger
version of replacing a headlamp bulb! Might be a trip to a garage.
Thanks anyway!
