Anybody have any ideas about a couple of gremlins I am experiencing
with my 2005 1.9 JTD?

With my windows, they stop working if one of the front doors is opened
when the ignition (engine) is on. The only way I can then operate them
is to switch off the ignition and then back on again. Quite weird,
almost like they are designed like that, but I'm sure it's only just
started happening (I've had the car about 6 weeks).

Also, the stereo now doesn't switch off automatically when the
ignition is switched off. It did, although I think my wife may have
pressed some random combination of buttons which has stopped it
happening.

Thanks
Charlie

RTFM !

There's a programmable setting on the radio, to determine if it should
switch off or not with the ignition. I would think only the manual would be
able to provide the correct sequence to set correctly.

Thanks Malcolm - managed to sort out the radio by playing around with
the menu options (don't have a radio manual).

The power windows is an intermittent issue which makes it pretty tough
to diagnose!

Cheers
