Just hit 138,000 and my 2nd MOT - no problems whatsoever, I thought I'd make
a record to show idle googlers how a well maintained Alfa can keep plugging
on!

(last work was 2 replacement upper front wishbones due to ball joint wear
and tear)

ps - if anyone wants a bargain, it's going soon as 4yrs are up....

Heh, that's not bad going. Maybe I should forward this to my fleet
manager.....

Just for the record, here are my higher mileage cars, either current
mileage or when I sold them:

Alfa 155 TSpark - 144,000 miles.
Alfa 75  TSpark - 134,000 mile track slag. Still counting.
Alfa 156 TSpark - 128,000 miles, never 'failed to proceed'

:-D

With the mileage I do, those sorts of figures would take me about 16
years! Still, with the way diesel prices are going.. I'm already
hitting the 60UKP pump credit card limits round here on just a 3/4
tank fill!  :-(

IIRC the 116 has about 140k, the Sprint about 120k
My 156 has 76k
Rachel's 145 only about 55k

Have they introduced a maximum amount you can take or something? I don't
know what you mean by £60 limit. In my student years, I worked in a petrol
station and the delivery drivers (large JS lorries) used to frequently fill
up and it cost them hundreds - we had no pump limits then (1998).

Pay at pump [1]. Until recently it was £60 at nearly all the stations I
use, now they go £80.

[1] Fantastic idea, esp on the bike.

Gotcha. I've only seen them at Safeways (Edinburgh Gyle and Dunfermline)!

Tried my local Shell garage a couple of days ago and the limit wasn't
displayed any more! This looks like a bad sign for future prices :-(
