Hello all. I'm new here. So new that I don't actually own a Fiero but I'm
thinking of getting one. I saw one with the classic pontiac disease of no-
pop pop headlights. Has anyone seen or know of a place that sells a
conversion to make them non-pop up. Perhaps like a little bubble instead of
the pop-up?

Also, are there any good places to pick up a fiero for cheap. Ebaymotors
seems to be strongly a sellers market.

Thanks
Marshall

Depending on what year it is the repair for the headlights
can cost as little as $10, see http://www.rodneydickman.com
for more info. Most conversions cost well over $100 and are
done primarily for cosmetic reasons.

Yep,
Headlight fixing was easy. Haven't had a fiero for a couple of years
(sigh), but when I did, my right one stopped working. Kit fixed it.
Took about an hour to pull it apart, fix it and put it back together.

Seems Ponitac went with some sort of gear material that crumbles over
time, replacement is made of Delrin, which should last many, many
years.

Hi Marshal,
I have a Fiero that I would sell pretty cheap. Needs a front bumper
cover, the rear decklid painted, & motor mts. (& a few other
misc.items/TLC). It's an '88 - yellow, 4 cyl. automatic. Has urethane
bushings on all suspension. Above Atlanta.
You can email me at imthadriver at yahoo.
