88 fiero formula fuel pump doesn't stop running

i just bought a '88 formula, no matter whats going on, key on, key off,
running or not, the fuel pump constantly runs, never primes and stops, just
continually runs... any ideas?

First, pull the wire off your oil pressure sender.  If it stops, replace the
sender.
-If no response-
Pull the wire off the fuel pump relay.  If it stops, replace the relay.
