Hey Jazzman,
This looks like a really neat program and you recommended it to someone
with EGR issues. Have you tried it? If so any tips on making the cable and
maybe some settings for the program buecause the site isnt much on info if
you're not a motorhead or an electronics wiz and you have to be both to
understand some of the stuff posted there. Just wanted to get some info if
you had it. Thanks in advance

there are several sites showing a simple interface, like two resistors
and one transistor. Be sure to include a 10K resistor between ALDL pins
A and B if you want to see any data on a Fiero. Open you only get trip
(fuel and distance) information and shorted puts you in a special
diagnostic mode with no timing. 10K only raises the idle to 1000rpm and
puts out the data WinALDL is looking for.
