Fuel Economy

2.8 Fuel Economy???  Ain't such thing!  19-21 sounds just about right on
combination city/highway driving.  Running Air, expect about 19MPG.  No
air??  About 20, mabe 21MPG.  There are exceptions to the rule I guess, but
from my experience with 5 fieros that is about where the fuel Numbers are...
   4.9 conversion will get you into the low to mid 30 mpg.

My 2.8 bored and stroked to 3.2 with a Crane 2030 cam and no
other modifications, with Getrag 5spd, gets 29-31 on the
highway at high speeds and mid 20's around town with much
stop and go commuting.
